Mental health service rebrand in East London

Defining and communicating a new brand promise for three London boroughs to encourage service uptake among those in need of help with their mental health

In order to align the service offering with local population needs Resonant was commissioned by NELCSU to carry out a series of workshops to gain real insight to the motivations and barriers experienced by people when they think about their mental well being.

The challenge was to unite the approach to service delivery across three NE London boroughs in an engaging, friendly and authentic way, and at the same time ensure that service provider will have the tools to engage and help those who need it most.

The results have been to present the IAPT services visually and in a language that people understand and relate to. The identity and new service website will serve the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge.

Our background of working in mental health over the past few years gave us a firm foundation to build on for this project. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey as the brief has at its heart the true interests of the local population.
